Hip-hop dance refers to street dance styles primarily including a wide range of styles which was created in the 1970s and made popular by dance crews in the United States.  The dance industry responded with a commercial, studio-based version of hip-hop—sometimes called "new style"—and a hip-hop influenced style of jazz dance called "jazz-funk".

Esteban's hip hop class starts with a thorough warm up to make sure each student is well stretched and warmed up before the routine.  Each week you will learn multiple blocks of eight counts that will be broken down, practiced repeatedly and reviewed with music.  Every two weeks you will have a new choreography.

No dance experience needed.  Classes are not contingent on prior classes.  Anyone who enjoys dancing and wants a good workout will love this class.
